Hi All,

We are doing some pelminary testing on some new hardware/software and we
are
hoping to be able to connect to an Oracle 10RAC from our standard Oracle
9
Libraries.

We have a large number of systems that have the Oracle 9.2 client
install
and is working on our current Oracle9 installation. We are trying to
connect
to the cluster with the Oracle9 client and not having succcess, we
generally
just get the TNS error saying "ORA-12154 (See ORA-12154.ora-code.com): TNS:could not resolve service
name". Has anyone had any sucess connecting to a 10 (or even 9 RAC) from
their standard Oracle 9 runtime libaries, if so what do you have in your
tnsnames.ora file?
